Online Auction - Sea Fish
What it is
- A new system for selling fish online;
- An alternative channel to the traditional in-person auction purchase;
- It allows direct participation in the fish auction, in real time and from anywhere with internet access;
- It opens up new horizons and business opportunities for the production and sale of fresh fish from the auctions on the Portuguese mainland.
The Auction gives access to:
- 5 fish auctions = 70% of the volume of fish traded in all fish auctions
- 2 fish auctions at the same time, with the possibility of switching: combination among Matosinhos, Figueira da Foz, Peniche, Sesimbra and Portimão
- Simple and intuitive
- Just press a key on your computer to buy;
- It has a system of video cameras installed in the auction to view the fish on sale;
- Allows simultaneous purchases at any fish auction connected to Docapesca's online system;
- The online sales panel is exactly the same as the one installed in the fish auctions;
- You can view on screen and buy from two fish auctions at the same time.
For the Buyer:
- Buy fish from anywhere with internet access;
- Track several fish auctions at the same time;
- Analyzing the market: viewing the fish auction at different auctions;

Who?
- Any fish buyer registered in Docapesca can join the Online Auction.
How?
- Register in the Online Auction and request access;
- Accept the rules defined in the Regulation;
- Download and install the Remote Sales app. If you have any questions, you can contact the Information Systems Department or access the User manual. This manual will enable you to install and operate the Online Shopping application correctly.

When you receive your access code, you must download the software from the Docapesca website. After installing it on any computer with a Windows operating system, you can start buying online.
No. There are 2 types of licenses:
PURCHASING LICENSE → allows you to make purchases in the 5 fish auctions with Online Auction.
VIEWING LICENSE → allows you to follow the Online Auction, but does NOT allow you to make purchases.

Yes. There is a trial adaptation period in which the license will be made available free of charge:
PURCHASE LICENSE → for a maximum period of 90 days;
VIEWING LICENSE → for a maximum of 5 days;
NOTE: Before the end of the trial period the customer must notify Docapesca of their intention to cancel the service, otherwise the license will remain active and the monthly payment will begin.
Yes. Licenses to use the online fish auction are personal and non-transferable.
In the same way as you do for a physical purchase.
In all fish auctions where the online sales system is installed. The screen space allows you to view two auctions simultaneously. At any time and without interrupting your purchases at one of the auctions, you can change the auction on the other half of the screen.
You must first be a registered purchaser in Docapesca.
